Description

You are bidding on an M1909 Argentine sword bayonet and scabbard.
The bayonet is 20 ½ inches long with the blade being about 15 5/8 inches.
The bayonet is marked Weyersburg Kirschbaum & Cie. Solingen.
On the other side is marked Modelo Argentino 1909 with the crest and number H3202.
The blade is bright metal with some spotting and scratches.
There is dried grease on the blade.
The blade has a sharp edge.
The grips are wood and there are scratches and dents, but are not cracked.
The bare metal pommel has light rust.
The scabbard is metal with the bluing worn off.
The scabbard is marked with the serial number D3222.
The tip is marked RA.
The throat is marked with an E.
The scabbard does dents.
