A antique medical 1800s surgeons tonsil clamp haemostat surgical tonsillectomy amputation instrument. Designed to hold engorged tonsils during tonsillectomy. Forcep used to clamp tonsil to be removed. This reduced bleeding and prevented tonsil material from falling to the back of the throat causing obstruction or inhalation. Instrument made of brass with a beautiful nickel silver finish with a silver adjustable
