Item Description
A neat antique medical tool, known as a bleeder, bloodletter, scarificator or fleam. Has a brass body and is spring loaded to forcefully release the blade to penetrate.  Blade has its own storage compartment.  There are two blades, one looks to be a bit worn.  Very glad we have surpassed this form of medicine.  No apparent makers mark.  Has mild wear overall.  Seems to work well.
